Pantip Plaza

An IT shopping mall located in Phetchaburi Road. This mall offers a wide selection of stores, selling everything from computers and computer-related accessories, including; parts, printers, digital cameras, MP3 players, PDAs, and much more. Pantip Plaza is also popular for its inexpensive counterfeit versions of software and DVDs. 


The IT City occupies on the 5th floor. It is the biggest IT store in Pantip Plaza, displaying and selling the latest equipment.

There are hundreds of small shops specializing in computer hardware, software and accessories, including parts, repair, modifications, networking, second hand, laptops, Macintosh and peripherals.


Pantip Plaza is opens daily from 10 AM to 9 PM. 

How to get there?

From BTS Chitlom, you can hire a tuk-tuk/taxi or walk ten minutes down Ratchadamri Road passing Central World on your left, over the Saen Saeb canal and then left on Phetchaburi Road. Walk about two blocks, and Pantip located on your left side.

In May 19, 2010, CentralWorld was one of the many properties of Bangkok set on fire by members of the Red Shirts anti government protestors as they were being cracked down after months of violent demonstration which included complete blockage of the Rachaprasong shopping district. The portion of the complex most affected was the Zen department store and its adjacent annex. The owners later indicated that portions of the center could be back in operation in as little as six months.
